 Embodying
Conscious Femininity is an awareness of one's own feelings, needs and
values and the ability to act on them. Power, prestige, fame and fortune drive
our outer world to the brink of destruction. When we turn inward, we are
challenged to discover our own feelings, to know what we need and what we value.
We discover the courage to speak with our authentic voiceIn this intensive workshop for women, we have the opportunity to embody Conscious Femininity. We explore our own symbols and symptoms to discover our authentic selves, to listen to our own dreams in our own body, and to speak with a free and open voice. Dreams, movement, voice, masks, creative expression, myths, and ritual, all form the core of this exploration. The safety of the temenos (sacred space) that we create allows for the healing of our old wounds and the emergence of new energies. The nature of this residential format allows participants to step away from the distraction and responsibilities of every day life and adjust the focus more inwardly. This intensive Quest is for health professionals and laypeople alike. Based on the BodySoul Rhythms® Intensives of Marion Woodman, Ann Skinner, and Mary Hamilton, this workshop includes morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. Therefore Participants are required to stay on campus. Prerequisite: A minimum of 50 hours of analysis or therapy and familiarity with Marion Woodman's book Conscious Femininity: Interviews with Marion Woodman.
